All are welcome to come play a part in the success of the upcoming school year. Meetings include grade level reports from administration, a follow up from recent PTA events, and a sneak peek at upcoming PTA events. The PTA meets once a month, generally on the 2nd Wednesday, and most meetings are LESS THAN 1 HOUR!!  At this time we are in desperate need for a Reflections Chair- check out the website to see what Reflections is all about!!  if interested, please contact Tonya Sigalas at ASAP!!

Committees are starting to form and event planning will begin for the school year, please consider volunteering in some capacity.  On the back of our all-in-one sheet, we have a list of PTA needs throughout the year.  Be sure to check off your interest so you can be included in future emails when those events get closer!!  Look for emails to come out soon.

Drop off your spirit wear order form to the PTA table at Back to School night or the front office anytime before then. Orders placed by September 14th will come in October 1st.  We have a new VENDOR this year, lots of FUN styles and trendy looks!! Spirit opportunities to show your BBMS pride will be hosted by the PTA this school year!

STARS Program

The BBMS PTA is once again offering the S.T.A.R.S. program (Support, Treat, Admire, Respect all Staff)   Staff members who wish to participate will fill out a survey listing their favorite things and get randomly matched with a participating BBMS family. Once a month or so your family will “treat” their staff member. The treat is meant to be inexpensive. You choose when to send in the treats, there is no schedule! This is a fun and anonymous way to let the staff know how much we as families appreciate all their hard work!  Your staff member will not know who you are until the end of the year celebration in May 2018.

Staff members are so appreciative of this program. Many have said that receiving a treat has made their day.  Again, the items do not need to be expensive. It truly is the thought that counts.

If you would like to participate in this fun program, please email the following information to Meena Amin at   by Friday, September 15, 2017.

Parent or Guardian Name/Email    and     Student’s Name/Grade

Another BIG thank you to Katrina Mitchell-Cooper, MacKenzie Mitchell Cooper, Dawn Alexander, April Giles and BBMS staff for their help in assembling 750 folders for the first day of school!! The 4th Quarter

The 4th Quarter program has some GREAT news! We will be expanding our sports curriculum☺. This fall we will be playing soccer, basketball, handball, dodgeball and football☺. If your child has not played any of these sports or is a top athlete we GREATLY encourage you to register your child. Our mission is: To create young leaders! Our program is designed for beginners, intermediate, and advanced athletes. As you all know I am certified personal trainer☺! This means that everything we do out on the athletic field has a purpose and a reason! Throughout the program we will use these fitness tools: body weight exercises, agility ladders, cones, medicine balls, resistance bands, TRX suspension training, jump rope, and boxing. The fall program will begin on September 27th! Register here: If your child needs financial assistance he/she may sell ten 4th Quarter t-shirts to cover the registration fee.
