6th Grade Student Orientation

Our 6th grade orientation will be divided into two parts this year. One portion is for 6th grade students and one portion is for 6th grade parents.

We are asking 6th grade families to drop their student(s) off at BBMS at 1:00 p.m. Vehicles will need to enter through the Ilchester Elementary School entrance, and drive along the curb in order to drop off their student (staff will be available to guide and assist). Students will be guided into our building by both staff and student volunteers to engage in the orientation.

The parent portion of orientation will be held from 1:30-2:30 in the BBMS Cafeteria. I recognize that this 30-minute gap may seem like an inconvenience, but it is important for us to get all of the students in the building and settled, before we can welcome parents.

During 6th Grade Orientation, students will receive their locker assignments, and have the opportunity to practice opening their lockers. We encourage families to not bring school supplies or decorations during orientation, but those items are welcome at our Open House.
