January 11, 2021, Wednesday - Howard High School Virtual Lions Scheduling Night, 6:30 p.m.
The Lions’ Scheduling Night was rescheduled for January 11th. Join Howard staff for information sessions for both incoming 9th graders and rising 10th-12th graders (and their parents, of course).
The program will feature both pre-recorded videos/presentations and live Google Meets to talk with curriculum representatives about course selections for the 2021-2022 school year. Since this is a rescheduled event, many people have already viewed the videos and begun exploring the “elective fair.” Therefore, the program will begin with joining Google Meet Q & A sessions starting at 6:30pm. Drop in the Meets you have questions about and refer to the website for the evening for the schedule of events and more information:

Monday, December 21, 2020 through January 15, 2021: Selecting courses for 9th grade
Synergy is open for registration and students/parents may view pre populated recommendations based on current placements. HCPSS is planning for a 7-period school day during 2021-2022. Students will register for 7 credits and 4 alternates. However, in the event HCPSS continues a 4x4 schedule, the first alternate will be the eighth course. This language will be included on the student's course request page in Synergy.
