Hello BBMS Families,

Are you getting excited about school starting?!?  We are!  And, we hope your kids are too :-)

First, we want to thank our wonderful PTA for the welcome back breakfast provided for our staff this year.  It was a great treat to help kick off the year and welcome our staff back from summer vacation.  We are so fortuntate to have the support of you, our parents.  The food was plentiful and delicious.  THANK YOU PTA!!!

As we prepare for school to start, here are a few reminders to help you prepare:

• Family File - did you update yours yet?  We were around 45% last time we checked.  Please visit https://www.hcpss.org/connect/ and update your student information today!

• August 29, 5:30pm to 7:00pm - Open House for 7th/8th Grade Students Only.  Come set up lockers, get a schedule, and walk the building.  It's a good way to ease into the new year.

• August 30, 12:00pm to 3:00pm for 6th grade students.  11:30am - 3:00pm for new 7th and 8th graders.  New Student Orientation (6th, 7th and 8th Grade Students New to BBMS) - There is a meeting for parents from 1:30pm to 2:30pm.  We will review policies and procedures for new parents, go over logistics for the Outdoor Education field trip, and talk about fundraising and how to get involved.

• September 4 - FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!!  All students arrive at 8:00am ready to go for a great year.

• September 12 - Back to School Night.  6:00pm to 8:00pm.

We are so excited to see all of our students return and look forward to seeing you at those upcoming meetings.  See you soon!
